Road miles saved counts the round trip the family would have driven. Pilot days count from the referral being accepted to a pilot assigned for the flight out. Donated value is the figure Angel Flight West reports to funders: the volunteer's flight at the organization's rate per nautical mile, with no cost to the family or the hospital.

Declined, and why
Referrals under about 60 road miles are declined unless the patient cannot be driven; the gas-card program covers those. Nothing you referred this quarter missed a flight for want of a pilot.
Patients and language
Every Spanish-speaking family got their trip page in Spanish. Two were flown by a pilot who speaks it.
